I shouldn't have not played for more than 3 weeks. The sounds coming out the bell of my trumpet are truly horrific. That will pass in a few days though.

I've been using chorus-lib to develop a content management system at work. It's working out quite well, and is near completion. In the process I've discovered several bugs in the library along the way, meaning a new release of the library will be forthcoming. In the mean time reblogger is crying out for attention. I've set myself an end of the summer deadline for version 3.0, so I've really got to start allotting it the amount of time I was spending on it in May and June.

I'll leave you with something I wrote in what I'll call my "blog buffer" a good while ago but never blogged. There are many of these, but very few that I feel are still worth posting. This one has stood the test of time. In other words, I don't cringe when I read it yet.
