I think I may have started something. Last week I suggested to Suraj that it might be fun to bring a stand, an arban book, and our horns to the student centre some afternoon and just start playing some of the duets out of the book. No rehearsing, just whatever happens, happens. So we did, and it was fun, and there were mistakes galore, but it doesn't matter. We're going to do it again this week, and I think there might be one or two more people joining us. I found a couple of books of orchestral excerpts and a very cool looking piece for three trumpets. This week's session promises to be even more interesting than the last.
